Will my marriage certificate be recognized worldwide?
Georgia is a member of the largest world agreements that guarantee mutual recognition of documents. Therefore, most countries (EU, USA, Canada, Australia, Turkey, Ukraine - in total over 130 countries) recognize documents issued in Georgia under a simplified procedure. Some countries (for example, UAE, Qatar) require a two-stage legalization, which includes confirmation at the embassy.
