Wedding in Tbilisi

Tbilisi is a city with a rich history where the past and present blend seamlessly. Winding eastern-style streets, the futuristic Bridge of Peace and House of Justice, numerous parks, the Botanical Garden, a waterfall in the heart of the city, welcoming people, and flavorful Georgian cuisine – all of this awaits tourists in Georgia’s capital.

A wedding in Tbilisi offers the opportunity to submit documents and have a marriage registration on any day, except for public holidays (the right to rest and celebrate is highly respected here). Couples can choose the public hall of the House of Justice, one of three Wedding Palaces with unique styles or a ceremonial hall at the top of Mtatsminda Mountain.

Do you want an unconventional wedding? Marriage registration in Georgia doesn’t have to be a traditional ceremony at the Wedding Palace or a quick paperwork process at the House of Justice. Here, you can make your boldest dreams come true and get married on top of a mountain, by a lake, river, or under the shade of pine trees. All you need is to arrange for an official registrar to come to your ceremony location.

In Tbilisi, you can celebrate your wedding in the Botanical Garden or on one of the restaurant terraces. If you venture a little outside the city, you can organize the ceremony near the ancient Jvari Monastery with panoramic views of the two capitals of Georgia – old and new – or close to the Azeula Fortress.

Tbilisi is also a way to journey to the majestic mountains surrounding Gudauri and Kazbegi, the lakes and vineyards of Kakheti, or the city of love Signagi. And if you're ready for a challenge, how about getting married at the meeting point of two canyons? In that case, we recommend heading to the ancient city of Samshvilde.

Thanks to the mild climate, weddings in Tbilisi and its surroundings can be held at any season. But it's important to consider the features of each location. Contact us, and we will be happy to help organize the wedding of your dreams.

Ways to reach Tbilisi

Airplane
Tbilisi has the largest airport in the country. Flying is the most convenient way to reach the city and register your marriage in Georgia if there are direct flights from your country.
Train from Kutaisi
This is the best option for those who choose the low-cost airline Wizzair to travel to Georgia. The train routes pass through picturesque landscapes, and the 3.5-4 hours journey will fly by unnoticed. We recommend choosing tickets for the comfortable double-decker trains. The difference in price compared to cheaper trains is justified by the cleanliness of the carriages, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. Tickets can be purchased here.
If you're coming only for quick marriage registration in Georgia, consider the option of getting married in Kutaisi. Our representatives will be happy to introduce you to the lesser-known corners of Georgia and save you time on travel.
● Bus from Kutaisi
Another way to get to Tbilisi from Kutaisi is by comfortable buses that depart from the airport every 30 minutes to an hour. You can buy tickets in advance or at the airport ticket counter after arrival. The trip takes 4-4.5 hours, but it may take longer in case of road issues (accidents, landslides, or traffic jams). This should be taken into account when planning your trip.
